  • No. SimpleShield™ is a compliance membership, not legal or tax advice. We handle filings, Registered Agent service, and standard compliance tasks. You should still work with a qualified tax professional and/or attorney for legal or tax questions specific to your situation.

  • SimpleShield™ includes annual report / Statement of Information filings (where required) and certain updates/changes such as address, member/owner, or officer/director updates, along with Registered Agent services. Some specialized or unusual filings may be billed separately—we’ll always tell you upfront before doing anything that isn’t included.

  • SimpleShield™ is designed for U.S. LLCs, corporations, and nonprofits. Coverage and exact filing names vary by state, but the goal is the same: keep your entity active and in good standing. If there’s an exception for your state, we’ll flag it before you enroll.

  • If you cancel before your next renewal date, your membership and services (including Registered Agent and filing coverage) will end at the end of the current paid period. After that, you’re responsible for managing your own filings and Registered Agent service.
